No apparent way to encrypt!!!!!!!!!

No apparent way to encrypt!!!!!!!!! Instuctions are useless!!!!! They say simply use a long password. But, there is no place to type it. It automatically creates a useless zip file that is not encrypted, AES 256 is chosen in preferences. AFter a zip file is automatically created( to be deleted) highlight the folder in the zip file and right click (Control-click), then save to a zip file. Only because somone else took the time to write a comment did I figure this out. There needs to be an option to encrypt pop up when the initial zip is created. This should be turned on or off in preferences.
